Epiphany 5
Isaiah 40.21-31The promise of God - Week 3 of 5
Five weeks in which we discover the God who is able to accomplish far more than all we can ask or imagine.
God who continues to create
This week we turn to the Old Testament and to the great Book of Isaiah, to find a beautiful poem reflecting on the power of God visible in the natural world.
This week’s reading, Isaiah 40.21-31, provides an opportunity to:
- celebrate our relationship with God's creation and re-creation (AAA & CYP)
- reflect on our sense of awe, wonder or desolation in our experience of creation (AAA & CYP).
These resources were first published in Issue 57 – January/February 2012.
