An Easter journey around the world
Whether you're based in a church or a school, this resource will help you to:
- explore the Easter story in Matthew’s Gospel
- discover how Lent and Easter is marked by Christians across the world
- highlight the intercultural nature of the Church.
As you do so, you can also celebrate diversity in your own community. Do families in your community have Lent and Easter traditions or foods that they could share?
Extremely flexible
There are six stops on this Easter journey, covering seven countries: Mexico, Australia, Greece, Bermuda, Germany, Ethiopia and Brazil.
- Explore them all in one longer event – a community outreach event, intergenerational activity or children’s session
- Or highlight 1-2 countries each week in a school assembly, junior church or a midweek club.
