Glimpses of grace

John 1.(1-9),10-18

We hear again the famous prologue to John’s Gospel: Jesus is the Word by whom God created the world in the beginning. He existed before John the Baptist, whose role is to point towards Jesus, the Word made flesh, as the true light.

This week we hear of a promise made real, but this is only a glimpse of what is to come: the full revealing of God’s grace. Some have seen the light, some have not. How might we be part of seeing and believing, and demonstrating this to others?
