An activity for children or all-ages based on the familiar game of Consequences.

In small groups, write prayers in the form of letters to God. Start off with an exercise similar to Consequences, but using the format of a holiday postcard.

Each person writes the following, folding the paper over and passing it to the next person each time:
1) a sentence of greeting to a real or imaginary character
2) a sentence about the place where you are
3) one sentence about what you’ve been doing
4) a request to the person at home
5) a signing-off.
