Finding a voice in today's world is not always easy. Most people have felt the presence of an inner urge to make their voices known. For some, however, the personal obstacles that must be overcome are great.

For the deaf and mute man mentioned in Mark 7.24-37, finding a voice in society was virtually impossible. Not only could he not speak clearly, he could not hear the voices of others. Until Jesus came along. A touch from Jesus sent the man reeling into a whole new world where he would finally have a voice.
