Dad picked up the cricket set and put it under his arm. He turned to check that the car was locked, before the family, with all their kit, headed down the steep path to the beach. The sea was on its way out, so soon there would be a good space for the cricket match. The camp was quickly established and James and his brother Ben ran to set up the cricket stumps.
